 Sylvia first became interested in Complementary Therapies in the late nineties, completing her first course in 1999.

She has studied at the Sylvia Brearley School of Therapy qualifying in Holistic Massage, Anatomy & Physiology and Aromatherapy. Further study at the York School of Complementary Medicine resulted in a Diploma in Lymphatic Drainage Massage.

Sylvia has also worked as a member of the Complementary Therapy Team at Wheatfield’s Hospice. She is I.T.E.C qualified and a full member of Embody and the Complementary Therapists Association.

Indian Head Massage – Using Champi and traditional Ayurvedic techniques and percussion movements. Brisk and invigorating, this treatment may be given with or without the use of herbal oils.

Hopi Ear Candling (Thermal Auricular Therapy) – Useful in the treatment of common ear, nose and throat conditions. Made from beeswax, honey, herbal extracts and organically grown flax, candling works on the chimney principle to gently draw out impurities. Includes pressure point facial massage.
